"Olana State Historic Site, the home of famed landscape painter Frederic Edwin Church, in Hudson, New York, is stunning any time of day, but last Wednesday it was particularly so. While the sun was setting over the vista of the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains, the clouds above lit up in brilliant hues. It's no wonder why a central figure in the Hudson River School of artists would have made his home in this specific location - it's breathtaking."
