Split Rock at Mohonk Preserve

"I had made it a point to pick up a one month pass from Mohonk Preserve for their Healthy Ulster County promotion in April. Unfortunately, my busy schedule only allowed me to use it once, on the last day no less. And so, I chose to visit Split Rock via the Shongum Trail at the West Trapps trailhead. I had never visited Split Rock before. But, the photos I had seen of this location always expressed beauty and serenity. And Split Rock definitely lived up to those expectations. It's definitely worth the visit."
