Photo Taken by Frank Guarnuccio Photography "While looking for a unique photographic opportunity, I decided to pay a visit to Cascade Lake in Warwick, NY. Having heard about this gem but never visiting, I decided to change that on this particular October day. It was overcast, and the days showers had pretty much ended when I pulled into the parking lot. I was stunned how, as the clouds thinned, the Autumn colors became brighter and more intense. I made my way towards the dam, firing off a few photos as I walked. When I reached the dam, there wasn't a lot of water flowing over the top. I decided that I could get a decent photo from up on the bank along-side the dam when I realized that in my excitement to get going, I left my tripod back in my truck. As I composed the photo, I braced myself as best as I could against a tree and took a few long exposure shots, not knowing how well they would come out, if at all. To my surprise, I ended up with what you see here."
