Troutbeck is formerly a residence and retains the essential qualities of any great and unpretentious house. Every room has been carefully updated to a modern standard with luxe details where called for though, importantly, never ostentatious in their presentation. The Manor House
The Manor House (c.1919) houses seventeen beautifully modernized guestrooms and suites, reception, bar, dining room, living room, library, the sunroom, our gallery, ballroom and shop. The Manor House is at the heart of Troutbeck, retaining its historic details made youthful and bright.

Located in the historic wing of the Manor House our one bedroom suites comprise of a bedroom, bathroom and separate sitting room. Sitting rooms generally offer an additional flat panel television, a seating area with a convertible sofa, dinning height occasional table and additional seating. A fully accessible ADA compliant one bedroom suite is available. |
THE SPINGARN SUITE
The former master bedroom, located in the historic wing of the Manor House, overlooking the Dunham Creek and our noble sycamores. Two beautiful window seats, wood burning fireplace, dining height occasional table alonside ample soft seating. A second room, formerly a sleeing porch, is furnished with wicker furniture, a long bench seat and coffee table. The Spingarn suite connects, through the sleeping porch, to a Manor House Guestroom next door. |
THE SYCAMORE SUITE
Located in the historic wing of the Manor House, overlooking the Dunham Creek and the noble sycamores. This playfully romantic three-room suite includes a living room, bedroom, spacious bathroom and a free-standing soaking tub, basked in natural light, in the former sleeping porch. The living room includes a convertible sofa. |
TWO BED SUITE
Located in the historic Manor house, two king bedrooms share an entry vestibule and bathroom. One bedroom, a contemporary four poster bed, ample closet space, occasional chair and flat panel television. A second bedroom features a bead board headboard, closet, two comfortable chairs, a table, and a flat panel television. Windows on two sides overlooking the garden, a vaulted ceiling, wrap-around cushioned bench seating, writing desk. The sleeping porch is a living room, workspace or lounge space. Both bedrooms may be closed from the shared sleeping porch. |
Manor House West
The west wing of the Manor House, in which six of the seventeen Manor House guestrooms are found.
DUNHAM SUITE
Fall asleep to the sound of the gentle stream which flows beneath its windows. A large gas fireplace, comfortable seating for four, a full-length chaise to curl up on and a bathtub to while away the hours. With south and western exposures, the Dunham Suite is bathed in natural light year-round. The Dunham Suite may be combined with the Double Grand guestroom next door through a private connecting vestibule. Ideal for extended stays and romantic getaways. |
GRAND DOUBLES
Large enough to accommodate two king-sized four post beds and ideal for families or those who simply wish to spread out. All include a comfortable seating area for four, a writing desk, ample closet space and generous bathrooms with double vanities. |

Located in the west wing of the Manor House. A Manor West Grand may be booked with a connection to a Double Grand room upon request. |

Dining at Troutbeck is about time and place. From the ingredients on the plate to the company at the table, the goals are pleasure and presence.
Executive Chef Gabe McMackin sources from the best local farmers and purveyors, whenever possible, to thoughtfully build a new American menu of dishes that are at once elegant and approachable. We pride ourselves on being able to satisfy each guest’s appetite — whether it’s for a Chef’s Tasting Menu on a special occasion or for a simple snack at any time. Troutbeck offers casual fine dining with menus that change regularly with the seasons. |
