The Hudson Valley is filled with incredibly brilliant people. We're currently looking for some talented individuals, who may want to contribute to a section of our site solely dedicated to sharing general knowledge, skills and talents that may be of benefit to both our local and global audience. These individuals should have considerable experience in a profession, craft or use of a talent.
Examples include, but are not limited to: Nature preservation information from those with an environmental background, historical information about our region as told directly by historians, health tips from local medical professionals, real estate advice from licensed realtors, healthy-eating tips from licensed dietitians, artistic insights from local artists, financial tips from those involved in local financial services, just about any local scholar sharing something worthwhile to the general public, local restaurant owners and chefs who would like to share recipes, legal tips from local attorneys, tips on traveling in the Hudson Valley from bed and breakfast owners, photography tips from local photographers, gardening tips from experienced gardeners, and more.
What does the public get from this?: Valuable knowledge, directly from the source! Let's make the world more informed.
What do contributors get from this?: This unique platform to share what they know, with a huge audience. Through our site and social media outlets, some of our posts on rare occasion have been seen by more than 100,000 people around the world, in a day - so, be sure to share something really interesting. If you happen to be a business owner, this is your opportunity to showcase how talented you are, while including a link to your business, for free. You'll also have bragging rights to having written for TheHudsonValley.com - if you're into that sort of thing.
