Crepuscular Rays Across the Hudson

"I don't often go out just to take photos, but on this particular evening in May of 2014, the sky and lighting was too exceptional not to. I decided to head toward Cold Spring, but on the way there, noticed these brilliant beams of light breaking through the dark clouds across the river, about half an hour before sunset. I pulled over near Breakneck Ridge, headed to the eastern shore of the river and spent some time appreciating the view, and captured this shot."
